Sue and James are the best! I’ve never had such a pleasant experience trying to look for a good place to rent a storage unit. I am so happy and confident I found the right place to keep my belongings and have a peace of mind knowing everything is going to be secure and they won’t be playing with the rent rates every other month. I will recommend you to everyone. Thank you guys!

I appreciate the communication from Sue Ellen from Century Storage. I once left my lock, unlocked, they called me within hours letting me know. They also let you know when a hurricane is coming offering you added insurance. I'm not happy re t goes up approx every 8/10 months, year over year...keep that in mind, however that's everywhere. You can reassured Sue Ellen will be there for any of your needs related to your storage needs. She is behind the car wash central Sebring opposite Aldi.

Overall I have had a good experience with Century Storage. The facility is well maintained, they have a secure fence around the parameter, unique code access for each person tracking ins and outs. The facility is clean, the storage units are nice, the people that work there are friendly. The only gripe I have about the storage units is there is no lighting or power in the unit. It is impossible to find anything in a large storage unit at night. The biggest issue I have with Century Storage is not the facility. It is their pricing model. Every year they increase their prices without increasing services. Customers are held hostage. The price increase comes in and they either have to move or pay it. Moving a full storage unit is not easy. They know it and take advantage of it. People can move out, abandon their stuff and the storage facility sells it at auction or pay whatever they decide to charge them. Century is relentless about getting paid. They send out nag emails if the payment is 1 minute late. It is a hassle because I send a check to pay the storage fees. The check will be delivered before the payment is due, but if they don't load it in their accounting system then the "you are late" nag messages start. To avoid those I would have to pay a month in advance. Miss a payment because it was lost in the mail and they are on the customer like white on rice. Emailing, calling, nagging constantly like it is the end of the world. Payments get lost in the mail sometimes. A customer that pays consistently month after month should be treated differently than someone that never pays on time. Ultimately this is why I moved out. The constant nagging for late payments when it was them that didn't process the checks in time and the never ending increases in cost without any logic behind why there was an increase. It is a good clean and safe facility. No issues at all keeping anything there. Pick them based on the facility, pay automatically by credit card and don't worry about monthly increases in fees and the place is perfect. On a budget then the fee increases alone is a good reason to find somewhere else. I haven't tried this but they may be willing to negotiate a fixed fee for an x year commitment when signing up. If there would be a way to lock in the cost when you start using them indefinitely then they would be fine. We signed up we were paying around $190/month. The monthly fee when we left was $250/month. 24% increase monthly ($720/year) for zero increase in services. Nothing at all changed from the user experience perspective.
