J & D Storage

Do not store stuff here. People are breaking into unit or at least smaller units, taking things, and closing the door without even busting the locks or latches to make it seem like nothing is wrong. If you have a storage unit here please check on it, open it and make sure they're not doing to you the same thing they're doing to me. I now have at least $2,000 worth of stuff gone. Also, the lease says it's not their responsibility that your stuff gets stolen due to their lack of security and solid structures. Update, now there's cameras...after almost all my stuff is stolen. Update. Went to move what little left of my stuff out of there due to lack of responsibility the storage unit took due to my stuff being stolen thanks to their lack of structural integrity. I pulled up with the rental van only to find my storage unit door open again. Thankfully I don't think they took anything this time but wow...security cameras do nothing here. That makes at least 3 times that I know of that my storage unit has been broken into without damaging the lock in any way. It's probably someone in the company taking things. If you have a unit here, make sure you open it up and check on it!

We will never recommend J and D storage to anyone. We opened up the storage unit and things were stolen just not small stuff but big things like a bed and washer. They decided to change the locks without telling us. They said they sent out an email along with a letter (which we DID NOT get) to let us know. My husband and I went to our storage unit and found that the lock that was not there but every other unit locks were changed but not ours. I called the office to let them know and they told me that there was nothing that they can do and they only get 10 locks at a time. I told them that ours was the only one that wasnt changed. Oh and they didnt give me a contract.

I'm sorry to post even one star for this scam business. Thousands of dollars worth of belongings gone. It had to take at least two men to carry these items. No sign of damage to the door and the whole lock was missing. Supposed to a gated, camera secure lot, yet cameras were pointed down and gate wide open and NO one saw anything. We believe it was an "inside job" the owners and management are absolutely a nightmare to get ahold of and don't seem too concerned. We trusted this business, now I have nothing good to say about this place!
