Seemingly nice until questions are raised then they like to hang up in your face over the phone. No one raised their voice, or used harsh language, we simply asked questions that she couldn't handle so she hung up on us. Twice. Extremely unprofessional. We called and talked to the owner, who helped find a solution pretty quickly, then we were told that solution wouldn’t be honored, because he “didn’t run day to day operations.” What happened is his wife, whom also owns the company is buddy buddy with the manager, and they decided they didn’t like us so they weren’t willing to help. All we wanted to do was upgrade our unit, so that we could get a $5000 mattress out of the elements. We are in the process of moving, and there has been covid in the house, so instead of coming into contact with anyone I was wanting to come up with a solution to where we could do this without me having to come into the office. Instead I was offered no solutions and then, locked out from even accessing my own unit, because I was less than a week late with our rent. So then I said that’s not a problem I can catch up the payment, and was charged $25 in fees on top of what I needed to pay. I will also add that we have been model renters. Always paying more than three months in advance and never late. I just couldn’t believe the experience I had with these people. Never in my life have I been treated this way for wanting to pay more money to a company. That was never an issue. Needless to say, we are moving out of this unit and taking our business elsewhere. There are cleaner places for less money. I was only using them for convenience.

I used LoneStar Self Storage for years in order to store work related stuff. I could go on and on about how appreciative I was of Alex, the main employee, and all of his help over the years with all of my boxes, keeping the place cleaned up and just an all around great individual! The supervisor is great also. Very professional and always so helpful and kind. They really know how to run a business while taking great care of their customers. I would highly recommend storing your valuable stuff here!

I recently rented a unit as I was moving in my movers were sure what size they needed. The gentleman at the front desk said no problem here's another unit that's larger if you don't need 2 don't worry since it's the same day we will transfer the amount paid to the larger unit. Turned out we didn't need the second one as soon I left I called the guy back telling him we only needed one he had completely forgot the conversation we had. I understand they don't issue refunds but to charge me for an entire month for a unit I did use is poor business.
