Northwest Self Storage

I recently rented an exterior unit at Northwest Self Storage and have been very impressed so far. I booked online, and the entire process was straightforward and user-friendly. Most notably, their pricing is incredibly competitive—nearly half the cost of other facilities I looked at in the area. When I arrived with my first load, I realized the lock I had pre-purchased on Amazon didn't fit the door mechanism. I went into the office to buy a replacement, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that their in-store locks were very affordably priced. The manager was fantastic—she noticed my unit number and realized the lock I was about to buy still wasn't the right fit for my specific door style. She caught the mistake, apologized for the confusion, and made sure I walked out with the exact lock I needed. It’s rare to get that level of attentive customer service! The facility is great, the price is right, and the staff is genuinely helpful. Highly recommend.

I recently had a my second negative experience with this team. I was locked out and the manager was not on site during business hours. I drove nearly an hour to get here. The phone tree sent to a very unhelpful guy. Who after speaking with for 20 minutes told me someone will be there to help me. He couldn't tell me when they'd arrive, who they were, or give me contact info so I could ask them personally. He couldn't help me further, if he helped at all. I was angry. I calmed down to just being frustrated so I could leave, not knowing when help would arrive. I live nearly an hour away so this is super lame. About 20 minutes later, possibly the best person on their team Pam called my cell. ( 50+ minutes after I checked to see if the manager was in) She let me know she left a location as soon as she heard I was locked out. I explained that I was too angry to have waited. I thanked her for heading out to help me, and sorry I wasted her drive time. We chatted as I calmed down and agreed to try it again next weekend. Pam, thank you for your excellent customer service and giving that human response a phone tree / ai just can never give. Someone in charge, please give this valuable asset a raise.

I can’t recommend this storage facility enough! The manager, Traci was so easy to chat with and always willing to answer questions, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Their policies are straightforward, fair, and actually made things easier for me instead of complicated. I felt supported every step of the way, and they went above and beyond to help me with everything I needed. Excellent service and a great team—thank you!
