Self-Storage at U-Haul

The lady general manager there, and her staff have always went above and beyond to make sure everything I needed was accommodated for. I always felt safe, secure and in good hands. The elevator at the location made transporting my belongings up and down to the second floor extremely easy. Would highly recommend this location to anyone.

My outside storage unit was like brand new, no rust, no leaks, no droppings, and no bugs. I don't think the units are old. The outside door to every unit outside is red like a toolbox red, no rust, no holes, no scratches with two locks. The employees are patient, polite, dressed to match each other. I hate asking if " do you work here " like other places. We were temporarily homeless March through May because of the rent hikes in the city. The owner of this uhaul is friendly, pumped full of energy, and accommodating, She has model units at the main check-in building. I think her name is Tanisha, and she showed me the models. Tanisha explained how many rooms I could fit in the unit I picked and prices. I don't know how they can afford a month free, but I am not complaining. I had another unit at a different location & name of business and it was awful. All the outdoor units had leaks in them, rodent droppings on top of my totes. I guess that place needs new roofs and some external evaluation. I threw away alot of my property except the bins & some tools. Long story short we paid more for paid movers, gasoline, and hotels than the units. We are still clients and hopefully in June or July we will have enough money to move out of state. It's not cheap moving when your on disability & it's overwhelming. We are going to try to move after memorial day, and the heat is finally here. I wish we could have slept in a unit, lol, cleaner than most hotels & probably more comfortable than sleeping in a car. Oh, the unit outside are well lit up, and gated. The gate is closed after business hrs but you can use you key card to get in & out. This location & employees are running like a car with an awesome tune-up. If you read this far then you must care about your property. This 10×25' unit showed us we had too much property. I think that's a plus ➕️ 🤔...we went from 3 units to one at 2 locations. I plan to donate more before we load the truck. My partner was a mechanic for over 30 yrs & I was a busy resteraunt/ baker working mom of 2, until I became disabled. I wouldn't wait to get a unit because everyone is moving and have nowhere to go, unless they have family & friends with room. Tanisha, Chauncey are my favorite employees to get helpful information from and I am sure the other workers are just as helpful under there boss...sorry can't remember everyone's name. Thank you Uhaul on Lewiston St. in Fall River, MA. Elaine & Bill from Walmart parking lot, its legal to sleep there and the lot is getting fuller so I need to move!!! I hate $ but sometimes you need it.
