I am writing to formally report a very serious issue involving my storage unit, which I have maintained for over a year. Despite occasional lateness, my account has always been paid, and I have never been informed that my unit was at risk of auction. On November 16, 2025, I visited the office in person and was informed—without any prior notice—that my unit had been auctioned on Wednesday, November 14, 2025. At no point did I receive any communication regarding this action. There was no phone call, text message, or email notifying me of an auction. I do, however, have records of emails I received prior to this step, none of which indicated that my unit would be sold. During my visit, I spoke with an individual who identified himself as the General Manager, Steven. His behavior was extremely unprofessional and dismissive. When I requested to speak with his direct manager, I was told, “No, because they won’t be able to do anything.” After continued requests, he reluctantly agreed but then moved his chair away and began scrolling on social media instead of addressing the situation. His demeanor and attitude throughout the interaction were unacceptable. Eventually, a call was made and I was directed to speak with Nikki, who was professional, attentive, and genuinely helpful. She took my information, listened to my concerns, and advised that she would do her best to locate my belongings. I appreciate her assistance, as she was the only individual who treated this matter with the seriousness it deserves. This situation is extremely disturbing. My personal belongings were disposed of without my knowledge or consent, and without any documented communication warning me of an auction. This is a significant breach of trust and potentially a violation of storage and consumer protection laws. I am requesting immediate assistance in locating my items and a full explanation of how this occurred without proper notice. If my property cannot be recovered or this matter is not promptly resolved, I will be forced to escalate this issue through formal legal channels. Please contact me as soon as possible to address this matter.

Great support. Last minute needed a unit. And then when there realized I needed a bigger unit. The accommodated immediately. Very flexible.

I've been here for over 3 years and had full intentions to stay for at least 2 more years. Because of rate increases, in 2023 I was paying almost $350/month which is over $100 over market rate. When I talked to the former district manager, she helped me get into a locked-in rate of $275/month - still about $50 over market rate, but I was okay with that because of the convenience of the location. Unfortunately, when the new district manager took over, he refused to upkeep this agreement and once again increased my rate to over $300. When I tried to talk to him about it, I was ignored until I sent a follow up message. When he did finally reach out to me, he couldn't even be bothered with knowing anything about my situation. I was told that I was paying "way below market value, even with the increase"... But then proceeded to ask me what I was paying and what my increase was.... extremely unprofessional for him to try to have this discussion with me while driving down the highway with no service and no knowledge of what I'm paying. This unfortunately isn't even the tip of the iceberg when it comes to problems at this facility. Someone breaking into the facility at night, breaking into trucks and defecating inside of them. Someone spray painting the locker doors and hallways. Units with 4+ extension cords coming from the unit's light. People welding inside of their units. Consistently replacing tires on my vehicle because of bolts, screws, etc. being left in the driveway. Just a few to name. I also feel that this company is being extremely unfair to the worker at this facility. I came to my locker almost every day and have witnessed firsthand how stressed out the worker is. She runs around trying to get everything possible done throughout the day but there's just too much work to be left on one person. When I moved in, up until about a year ago, there were always two people working at the same time. It's not safe for anyone to be working by themselves in this area, especially with the amount of crimes that have been happening lately. If your facility is so easy to break into, who's to say someone isn't waiting inside to hurt the worker because they're mad their unit was defaulted on? Just overall extremely unhappy as I would have loved to stay here but between the rate increases and the overall dangers of being here, it's just not worth it anymore.
