Smartlock Self Storage® - Spencer

Until the recent front door issue, I absolutely loved this storage facility! Clean, super easy access & open 24hrs is great. There's nobody on-site, so that part kinda sucks, but definitely not a deal breaker. The only real problem I've had here, is for the last week, the front door has not been opening. I've packed my car top to bottom 3 times now, hoping to unload it in my unit, just to show up & get disappointed that it still won't open. I pay $100 every month to store my things here, not $100 a month to not have access to MY things. It's very frustrating, especially when there wasn't ANY notice from the business. If I would've got an email and/or text regarding an issue with the door, I wouldn't of wasted so much time packing up my car & driving 25 mins.. not getting in, driving 25 mins back & unpacking it all. As soon as this problem is resolved, I will be more than happy to change my review. Until then, I would NOT waste your $$$ time OR effort using this storage facility.

Super quick and easy process to rent online. It's a brand new facility and super well lit and clean. You use an app to unlock and open the facility's main door as well as your unit. It does take some getting used to. Been there since March and still have never seen an employee nor other renter.

Do not use this storage. Can't even get in the front to access my things. No customer service to even get ahold of anyone. Been waiting on hold for 15 minutes now one answering
