They charge you rent a month in advance so you're forced to pay for an extra month to keep your account paid off. This way when you go to cancel and move your stuff out you're met with a dilemma: pay for an extra month that you're not going to use so you can do the cancellation how THEY want, or tell them you're vacating without paying for a month of storage that you're not going to use resulting in them acting like you're just not paying for the unit. They will continue charging rent on top of it even though you're vacated and have explicitly notified management of such. I'm now looking at $700 going to my collections because I couldn't afford an extra month of storage I wasn't going to use. I have never had this kind of experience with a storage unit before and I've used 2 other companies in the past. Seriously shady stuff going on here. But I guess they're clean and well maintained and the management is friendly right? Yeah, just make sure to pay that extra month of rent that you won't use. Better to pay $100 than $700 later. Thanks StorageSense, and thanks Mary.

I was particularly impressed by the excellent service provided by Devin, the manager. He was exceptionally helpful, taking the time to show me several available storage rooms and offering valuable advice pertinent to my needs.
