The Empty Attic

I won't say how long I have needed to rent from here but I had to downsize from a house with a garage,I was renting to an apartment without a garage. I had invested in a lot of tools & camping equipment that are still useful to me - hence a unit. I've seen the staff change multiple times over the years & currently I have to say the 2 people in the office (various days) couldn't be more opposite in their C.S. styles. If you get lucky & are helped by Shilita, you will get excellent service & any questions you may have answered... I won't say who, but it's been my experience that almost everyone else who has worked there in the past would do a better job than the 2nd one. She has neglected to enter my payments on time & it fell to Shilita to fix it. Oh Well. The unit has been in general good condition, they have maintenance staff on hand to handle anything. Brandon is one of the long time personnel - and he takes care of the heavy maintenance. They stay open 12 hrs a day 0700-1900 during DST & only shorten by one hour the DST. 0700-1800. Sunday hours are different & major holidays they're closed. If you like the option to drive up to the door of most units, you will appreciate doing so here. They have raised the rates but it is infrequent. Not annually like some places I have been told about with friends. (Public Storage does it annually & you can't drive up at many locations) I miss my garage, but at least I found an "attic".

I pay to park my car there and it has been vandalized twice. Two windows shattered. They have surveillance cameras but they didn't let me look at the footage to find out who was responsible or help in any way. They don't care about their customers. Even when their staff is responsible they don't care. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I am being charged for 2 units. Percilla refused to help me. I keep asking her for help and she refused. I asked her to pull up my files. She didn’t want to get out of her seat. She stayed at the computer and told me I was not allowed to speak to her supervisor. She doesn’t have any answers. I just keep getting “I don’t know” , “I don’t know” but you gotta pay for 2 units in order to get access. Percilla is super rude. Horrible customer service. I feel like I am in the hood talking to a teenage girl. I asked to speak to the supervisor and she refused. I asked when the supervisor would return she wiggled her head at me like a teenager and told me “I don’t know”. Never rent from here unless you want to be price gouged. Their monthly rent may seem lose but they make it up in fees later one way or another. Percilla also has her two dogs in the leasing office and my allergies are going crazy. I am coughing and sneezing. The dogs are baking at everything moving around. The dogs bark at people when they walk into the office.
