U-Haul Moving & Storage of North Main St & Northgate

Definitely the worst U-Haul experience I've ever had in my life. I reserved a truck and due to the app malfunctioning, I was not allowed to upload a photo and therefore could not continue the reservation. The owner would not rent me a truck without the app as if U-Haul wasn't around before apps were even created. I called a U-Haul in Modesto California and was able to rent a truck in 5 minutes with no problem. So now I have to pay $100 more in mileage than I would have had to pay if this person would have just rented me the truck. Apparently he doesn't want my money so I will take it somewhere else. As if moving isn't stressful enough! This man in Manteca was a HUGE waste of my time.

So I've actually within a week rented two different trailers from you guys. The first one was a 6 / 12 open utility trailer. Okay, trailer, it's showing its age. I let them know that upon returning it a tire. Maybe a shock absorb or something gaining a vibration super nice manager, and then I was supposed to rent the second smallest trayer you had, like the 5 / 8. Well, the customer who brought it back somehow broke it, snapped. The leaf spring, the trailer's actually sitting on the axle. So absolutely could not go out. So what the manager does like, we can take 1 bigger 1. The size up I'll just charge you for what the smaller one is. Since it's not your fault or anything. And he got it rectified. I am a little bummed that I'm now burning more gas To do my trip without much money. I've spent that's not on the manager. It's on the customer who broke my trailer. I was supposed to take If I had the forethought, I would have seen if I could have just gone to a different location, but other than that, it's been fabulous

Highly recommend this location for your van or truck rental needs! Anthony and Sierra provided us with the best customer service from the moment we picked up our rental to when we dropped it off. They were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the entire process.
