I used 1-800-PACK-RAT for interstate moving utilizing their loading service and long-term storage that I paid to be climate-controlled. My household goods were stored for over a year. Upon delivery, I immediately discovered significant impact damage and material degradation affecting multiple items, including furniture, boxed goods, and heat-sensitive items that had been stored inside protective containers. The condition of several items is inconsistent with normal handling and inconsistent with proper climate-controlled storage. I documented the damage promptly with photos and video and submitted a claim. Despite extensive evidence, the company denied the claim and appeal and closed the matter without performing any on-site inspection or independent evaluation. I relied on their representations regarding storage conditions and expected a good-faith claims process. That did not occur. I am now pursuing resolution through formal legal channels. Potential customers should carefully evaluate long-term storage representations and claims handling practices before choosing this company.

Our drop off driver really did a great job. He was patient and took his time as our driveway and backyard are on a hill and very awkward. He took his time to make sure everything was safe and in a good position to unload. Very courteous and respectful!!
