Dillon Self Storage

For me, this is the best storage unit I have rented as I’ve been to other places here in Lincoln, Nebraska but they are not as nice and as secured as this one. The management is super efficient as they finish up the signing and closing transactions efficiently and they respond promptly to resolve any issues that may arise. The use of the keypad for entry and exit added a sense of security for personal belongings and the place is well lit and properly maintained. I highly recommend Dillon Storage to everyone looking for a decent and reasonably priced storage space and I would definitely use them again in case I would need them again in the future.

The owner of this facility is the weirdest, most disrespectful, and unprofessional plus he is greedy and a lying, manipulative jerk. I accidentally barely hit the building that the unit I was renting was in. It was late at night I tried to call him when it happened, no answer. So I left. The next day he called me and was very rude and irrational. Tells me he got a estimate of damages done and it came up to over $1400 }which I knew wasn’t real or accurate. I will add pics of damage{ yet if I gave him $1000 right then he wouldn’t call the police. There was no way the damage cost was that high. Needless to say the cops show up the next time that I was moving stuff into and out of my unit and charge me for leaving the scene of an accident. In court the estimate Dillion reported to the judge is almost $3,000 and now if I do not make regular payments towards restitution I will lose my license for 1year. On top of all that he creates a reason to evict me and only 24 hours to figure it out and be completely moved out of the unit.

The owner is super nice here. I needed a storage unit last minute when I moved to another state and he was very accommodating. It was after hours and he was super helpful in setting up the process from just a kiosk and a phone call. I’ve had the unit for about 7 months and had no issues. He is very good about communication and will work with your needs. He answers every time I called about the unit and lets you know updates about the unit through email. Will recommend very easy process and efficient.
