I recently rented a storage unit at Public Storage, and Josh made the entire experience seamless and stress-free. From the moment I walked in, he greeted me with a friendly smile and took the time to understand my needs, recommending the perfect unit size without any upselling pressure. He walked me through the facility, explained the security features in detail, and even helped me with the paperwork quickly. His knowledge and positive attitude turned what could have been a chore into a pleasant visit. If you’re in need of storage, ask for Josh—you won’t be disappointed! Five stars all the way.

READ THE ONE AND TWO STAR REVIEWS. This place is a scam. From my experience, they increase the rental fee by 15-20% every six months, so you are very quickly paying significantly more than you signed up for. The 5 star reviews are clearly fake. First of all, they all seem to mention great customer service - nobody cares about customer service for a storage unit, you interact with the people there when you move-in and move-out, you want fair and stable prices in a secure location. The 5 star reviews lauding great customer service, to me, are a clear sign that these reviews are not from actual customers. Read the one and two star reviews, those were provided by real people that have actually paid their own money for storage units at Public Storage on Cary Parkway. Furthermore, the customer service is actually quite bad, despite the fake reviews indicating otherwise. Nobody answers the phone number for the location, nor the 1-800 number, you only get an automated system. The door to the location office is locked, there is no doorbell, and nobody comes to the door when you knock. If you want to speak to a human, the only option is to leave a message for someone to call you back. I have yet to receive a call back after leaving two voicemails. I suggest finding an independently owned storage facility. They will likely treat you fairly, as people should. In my opinion, this facility cares about profits, nothing else, and is willing to get away with as much as possible to maximize those profits at their customers' inconvenience and expense.
