Securlock Storage at Hurst

I am 73 years old. I have traveled and used storage facilities during those years I used Public Storage and Uhaul. They were decent of all I looked over during the years. After 34 year of living in Texas from Ohio, it was time to downsize from a 2987 sq' home of 5 bedroom (2 of which are master suites) 3.5 baths, 3 living areas and 2 dining areas to something much smaller. Note: you will learn something about this move and the size of unit you need. My grandson, who is 31 and occupied the master upstairs and lived 90% of his life with us did some research for our next storage company. He felt we should look into Securlock in Hurst on Highway 26 just just barely past NRH2O. This would be the best choice into conjuction where he was to live and his grandma's new location. So I went on line and reserved a 10'×10' inside climate control unit. I reserved, paid for this unit online. They key word is reserve and pay for it on their app online. Why you may ask? When you do, the price advertised offered a huge discount and a free day to use their very large truck for free. Literally for free. Just fill the truck up is all you have to do. This unit and the entire facility was immaculate. That might sound funny but rodents, ants, spiders are a serious problem with my previous experience. I knew this separates Securlock from the others. I was going to use Uhaul at first in price shopping myself before I made final decision. Uhaul was slightly higher by $20 and offered free truck also. The difference is you get the truck free but it has to be one way only. You are also charged for mileage at $1.09/ mile traveled. It you don't read through entire agreement, this is added into your contract you signed and obligated to. So Securlock was final decision. In the end, I saved $85 by choosing them, reserved and paid on line. As for the free truck, there were no mileage fee and it didn't matter how many miles you put on it except fill it up with gas to full when we return it. Before I mention the people that operate this facility, I did mentioned the size of my house. What we learned that the 10'x15 foot was not quit big enough. We should have reserved the 10'x20' unit and make sure it's inside for climate control unit. Now the price was great, the facility was immaculately clean but the best for last are the people behind the desk. This facility location's Manager is Mieng. When he is occupied with other customer, you are transfered to a human instead leaving a voice-mail. A young lady named Holly will take your call and immediately send a message to Mieng. If Mieng has a day off, you never have to fear because Securlock has a "traveling assistant manager named, Jerry. He travels and fills in for the various facilities in the area when needed. Allow me to express my 110% approval of the friendliness, compassion and offer guaranteed total satisfaction in your experience leasing at this particular facility. I had a few things in regards my leasing that were caused by me but resolved with these 3 professionals and at no cost to me. Most of my interactions was Mieng. He had totally gone beyond expectations. Holly was the bridge via the need of communication with Mieng. I had to return to return a couple of items and had the opportunity to meet "traveling assistant manager," Jerry. What a pleasant gentleman to talk with face to face. There is no question when it comes to quality, totally satisfaction and great people, Securlock in Hurst is your choice. THIS REVIEW IS NOT A REFLECTION OF MING AS HE HAS BEEN AWESOME TO DEAL WITH. I stopped by today around 230pm and had a question for the front office. The door was locked but there was an employee in there. He opened the door a crack. I said "Hi, I have a storage unit here but can't remember the unit number." As he was shutting the door in my face he mumbled, "we're at lunch and can't help you." This is poor customer service and Securlock should know about it.

We just got a storage locker over the weekend and it was super easy and the price was excellent! The unit was clean and everything was well lit. I have only spoke to 2 men in the office over the phone and they were both helpful and professional. So far, so good. As of now, I would completely recommend this location.
