I’ve had a great experience at US Storage in Fort Collins, especially since Lisa took over managing the property. The difference has been very noticeable. The facility is cleaner, better organized, and overall feels much more professionally run than before. Lisa is responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about keeping the property in good shape and making sure customers are taken care of. Any questions or issues I’ve had were handled quickly and clearly. It’s clear that management has improved significantly under her leadership, and I’d definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for a well-managed storage facility.

I’ve had an excellent experience with this storage facility. The location is prime, making it super convenient to access. The property itself is exceptionally clean and well maintained, which really gives peace of mind when storing valuables. A special shout out to Lisa, who has been incredibly nice, helpful, and accommodating from the very start. She went out of her way to make the process smooth. I highly recommend this storage facility to anyone looking for a clean, secure, and well-run place to store their belongings.

Beware: 1-2 days after we moved our stuff into the storage unit we found mouse droppings on everything we owned. I brought this to their attention and was told they could move me to a new unit in the facility. I declined, mainly because I didn't have the time or effort to rent a uhaul and move everything I owned from a 2 bedroom home into a new unit that was likely also infested with mice. We were not in climate controlled, maybe those are different. I was told to set mice traps on my own, which I did. We caught half a dozen in my month stay there, plus found more dead when we found a place to move in. I left an initial review on google and Lisa called me irate and yelling about it. And how she went above and beyond to help us. Comping rent would have helped. A discount would have helped. Getting an exterminator into our unit would have helped but yelling at me on the phone does not help when we have literally everything we own in your mouse infested unit. Granted after we reported the mice I noticed exterior traps, so that is a plus. We had to throw out our mattress that was eaten and pooped on, our couches, etc. I was extremely annoyed at this and Lisa said that she would put in a claim with their insurance carrier that cover's up to 5K in damages and we would be taken care of. She did, and I am thankful for that. After 6+ weeks I heard zero from the insurance company. I called them yesterday 9/25 and they said that they will review the case when it is appropriate. Magically 24hrs after that phone call our claim was processed, typical insurance company. We got the max of $500, not $5,000. This is on me, in the policy it states that mouse damage is a max of $500. Cool, glad you demanded an insurance policy quoting my $5000 of coverage, when in fact there were stipulations and loopholes. I would NEVER recommend this establishment. Looking through the reviews it appears the climate control units seem promissing. I look forward to the phone call or response from Lisa for this review. I will not remove it this time. Can we replace a mattress and two couches for $500???????? I think not. UPDATE: I have reached out several times with my info to the response I received in this review. Have I heard back from them? NOPE. Avoid this place like the plague.
