Value Store It Self Storage

Very disappointed. I have been leasing a unit at Ft Lauderdale Sunrise almost a year, always on time. Veteran with terminal illness, lost job recently and was real sick this month. Got hit with a $100 late fee, left message with Brian and Carlos at Corporate, asked if they could waive fee as a one time deal. Things are really tough. They never called back, Sunrise folks said I was given a $10.... Yes $10 discount, when I went to pay today even that $10 disappeared. That $100 penalty I had to pay was meant to pay for medication this month. Gave my notice after 10 months. I was in business my whole life. I'm looking for a place that has more respect for loyal customers especially ones that are dying. Value Store It is not that place. So I got a call after posting the above review... "Sorry we hit you for $100 and you can't but medicine this month but we'll give you a free month in April." What about a free month in March that I paid in full in February? "Nope, can't do that" Unless you have to don't use this place.

I had an excellent experience with Kriss and Frankie at U-Haul. From the beginning, he was very professional, helpful, and patient while assisting me with the rental process. He made everything simple and clear, which made the whole experience stress-free.

Franky did a fantastic job with customer service! He was informative about processes and making sure I understood my U-Haul rental. Friendly face, and a good sense of humor.
