A Family Storage

The ability to drive up to your unit and the usage of app-based locks are super convenient for people who visit their storage often. However, the dust, critters, and expense just don't make sense for a long term renter like me. With small increases to my price over the last 5 years, my rental cost suddenly increased 30% with only 30 days notice which made staying at A-Family no longer feasible. I emailed the office about the sudden price hike and received no response. Since I rarely need to access my stored items, I switched to a storage company with indoor temp- controlled units, a slightly longer walk to my stuff, and an almost 40% savings. Works for me.

I have stored items here for many years. It is kept clean, and the staff at this location is fabulous. Joe is the manager, I believe, and Joe is always friendly and great to talk to about any questions I have about my storage. This location, and probably all locations, are safe and secure. If you need storage for your goods and keepsakes, I highly recommend A Family Storage.

I wish there was A MINUS 10 STAR RATING to give A FAMILY STORAGE on MaGee, west of Thornydale. They've had at least $10,000.00 worth of my household belongings since October, 2019. JOE, is a business owner's dream manager. The rest of the company can go to where the sun does not shine. For the 7th or 8th consecutive month, despite having my credit card number, they ignore it and routinely jack up my monthly cost with late fees. I live in Michigan. Have been told by the new INEPT, CROOKED management that my access to the facility is denied. So, what choice do I have? Book a flight, reserve a U-Haul truck only to be denied access? Hire an attorney and go after the owners for causing unnecessary stress? My wife will be having a hysterectony in two days. I don't need their concocted, LYING. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY AWAY FROM ALL (A FAMILY STORAGE) LOCATIONS. THE ONLY THING THEY STORE IS THE MONEY THAT THEY EXTORT FROM THEIR UNSUSPECTING CUSTOMERS.
