Acme Mini Storage

Five stars for the easy maneuvering through the complex and the obvious maintenance standard! However a stronger enfaces for the potential renter of the fact that only a barrel lock will work on the door. Unfortunately, the only time I could move my household items into the space was a Sunday, when you learn there is no access to anyone for any help in the event of what may be a real problem for your paying customer.

Sometime before July 2, 2025, our storage unit at Acme Mini Storage was one of several broken into with items being stolen. The problem wasn’t the lock, which remains intact, but the poorly-designed door latch of the unit itself. We were notified of the incident in a phone call, but that was the end of Acme’s involvement. They refused to contact the police about the burglary. They refused to file a police report. And they dealt with the matter with almost silent indifference. When we asked for surveillance footage or photos of the break-in and theft, they refused to comply. In fact, they tried to claim that they didn’t even have a camera pointed at our unit. This cannot be the case because their office has a big screen showing all of their security camera footage in real time. I doubt they have a recorder on the cameras, and I'm sure they don't keep an eye on them. And because several units were damaged, those who committed the damage had to be there for a long enough time, yet were never noticed. All of the cameras are mounted low enough that it doesn't take much to reach them, and they can and have been moved by hand. They are not on pan-and-tilt mounts, so there is no other way for these cameras to be moved. In fact, the camera that was supposed to be watching our block of units had been moved the day we moved out and left no cameras watching ours. It was clear that they were washing their hands of this entire incident and that we were on our own. So we rented a U-Haul and removed all our items and ended any further business dealings with Acme Mini Storage. I do not recommend Acme Mini Storage. Find another company.

If I can give 0 stars I would this place is infested with rats my grandma who is 94 years old single old woman had her items here and she had to throw away all her belongings that she cherished memories of her life of her husband who isn’t here anymore everything ended in the trash today because it was full of rat feces and pee. All her jewelry that she had trying to pass down as legacy was stolen the whole unit was stolen and trashed and i honestly think it’s the workers. We asked for cameras and they said they couldn’t because sometimes the cameras have tape like what make that make sense! She’s been paying for what for her items to end up in the trash and stolen. This just happened today so take my advice and don’t put your belongings here and we confront them and they said well we can’t do anything. It’s okay my lawyer will do something! DO NOT TAKE YOUR ITEMS HERE INFESTED WITH RATS! THEY STEAL ALSO AND THEN THEY WONT TAKE ACCOUNTABILITY!! 0 STARS!!!
