DO NOT RENT A STORAGE UNIT FROM CUBESMART STORAGE‼️‼️ I bought a storage unit at CubeSmart Self Storage on 90th Sunday evening. I’m currently in the process of moving my apartment to find somewhere new before my baby is born. There was supposed to be a “Welcome package” on the inside of the unit with a lock that I paid for while purchasing the unit. I came to CubeSmart around 7am Monday July 28th 2025 morning and my unit did not have a welcome package inside. I wanted to be proactive while I had some downtime and move some things before they opened, and just wait until the office opened to get a lock. 2 hours after the office was supposed to open, still no one was there even though their website says they are open from 9:30am-6pm Monday-Saturday. I called a different location to see if they were connected, the woman I spoke to could not get ahold of the general manager at the 90th street location but promised to have a lock sent out and put in my unit before i got off work. I had my mom come out to see if they did and they did not, luckily she had a personal lock on her and put it on my unit until I got In contact with someone at the office. Around 3:40pm today (Tuesday) I got a Facebook message that an old permit license of mine (that was in fact packed up) was found at a location that I have never been to before which sparked an idea that my things may have been tampered with. At that point I had my mom come to my unit to check it out, the first thing she noticed was that the door that requires a code was propped open with a dolly and sure enough between 4:00pm Monday July 28th 2025 evening and 9:30am Tuesday July 29 2025, when the office clerk called me to tell me that their website does not reflect their actual office hours of operation, there was no lock and my unit had been broken into. And as it looks and sounds the unit next to mine was broken into as well. Police reports have been made and there is an ongoing investigation! More than half of my home, valuable information & items, pictures, sentimental items, Tv’s, brand new kitchen appliances and clothing are all gone 😞 I’m having a baby in a few months, my home and belongings are my life, my heart is literally broken…

I've had my eye on this facility for a few years as it is close to my home. If I ever needed a storage unit this was my top pic based on appearance from the outside alone. When I finally had a need for storage, I came here first and was pleasantly surprised even further by the quality of customer service Jess provided. She went above and beyond just renting me a unit. I would absolutely recommend this location to my friends and neighbors! Thanks again, Jess!

DO NOT STORE YOUR ITEMS WITH THIS COMPANY!!! Things went great when I first started with them, Jess who runs or ran the place was friendly and helpful and kept the space nice and clean. I don’t know if they switched companies and/or managers of this location, but I vividly remember this one time where Jess specifically asked for me to come by to check my unit out because there seemed to be a weird odor coming from someplace nearby, but nothing was out of the ordinary from my unit for the three to four times afterwards that I came to check up on things. Well, fast forward to today, where I came to grab an item I was hoping to use for tomorrow, and check on some other items that I’ll be needing next week, and it seems to be that there’s at least one large piece of mine missing and things are out of place and you can obviously tell someone rummaged through all my items. I don’t even know where to begin, I feel as though I’ve been violated and it’s a major cause of concern for myself and other patrons and possible future ones, too. Please be wary if you decide to leave your things here. I understand that the following pictures could have been falsely created, but why would I make it harder for myself to go through my own personal things when and if the time to move them from the storage unit were to come up? The first two pictures show the only items that were kept the way I left them last.
