Affordable Secure Storage

DO NOT RENT HERE! Seriously the worst place in town! Have a 24 hr number but it's just an answering service they have no ability to do anything! We were told a total of 8 times we would get a call back from manager to gain access to the unit we rented with no call ever! Paid over $350 for a unit and were given a gate code after 4 calls the answering service was able to forward an email that apparently was not accurate. After driving all day from out of state and with a rented trailer that had to be returned we still had no access. We had paid for several days before our arrival making sure everything was done because we were coming from out of state. Now we are stuck leaving everything in the trailer and another rental fee for the trailer and fines. And taking a day off work to try and find another storage unit. Oh and by the way still out the $350 for a unit we were never even able to get past the gate to. Management is beyond awful, service worthless, Seriously save yourself a ton of headache pain and suffering DO NOT RENT HERE!

DO NOT rent a storage unit from this company! Thousands of dollars of my personal property was stolen from the unit I rented down to all my personal information along with my daughters! Secure? Yes, they have cameras but do not have access to view camera footage! I locked the unit with a lock and key I purchased from Affordable Secure Storage 42 days later I go and empty the unit just to find that my unit was still locked but almost everything my daughter and I owned was taken! It’s pretty obvious who the thieves are in this situation and it wasn’t a first for this company! I’d go on and on word for word but enough has been taken from my daughter and I! I never would have imagined something this evil was possible at a storage company and now regret not taking a second to read the reviews and although my daughter and I are at a total loss I hope this review and my experience saves another family from losing all they own to this said company.

The only reason this business is getting a one star and not a negative star is because that's what the program will allow. The owner has zero business ethics. He will lie to you just to get you in the doors by saying he will price match and when you are in his office he says he can't do it and his prices are set in stone. Every time (and I'm not exaggerating) I go to use my storage unit he has me stop in the office because he has changed the code, forgotten that I paid him, or has given away my unit. He has never offered and I have asked to be compensated for him giving my unit away, however he has never given me any kind of credit back. He has a horrible reputation among the other storage places in the area and they all know he is rude and horrible to deal with, also his advertisement of "Affordable" should be taken to court because he is in all reality the highest priced in the entire area.
