Allsafe Self-Storage Alameda

Great husband & wife team that run this facility. Able to quickly get the storage locker I needed. They drove me around to find the right size and ensured I could lock/unlock w/my arthritis. Good location in Alameda and reasonably priced.

Lonnie & Lynn were very kind and accommodating! I forgot my lock, and they were nice enough to let me borrow one. I'l be returning it very soon, but I really appreciate their help and great customer service!

I got an inside unit, it was dirty with spiders and spider webs when I first saw it, easy enough to brush off with a broom myself, but there’s a wet musty smell throughout the indoors area and my unit. The indoors hallway had dead bugs and dirt - hoping they increase cleanliness inside. All staff I’ve talked to have been very helpful though and I was able to move stuff into my unit the same day I called to rent one. Facility feels secure with a gate. UPDATE: Allsafe was able to give me a new unit, with the same specs and in a more updated (they’re currently repainting) area - it feels so much nicer and clean and no must/wetness or dirt! It seems I was previously placed in an area where mostly boating and outdoor gear gets stored. The owner was so so kind and even lent me a temporary lock and made accommodations for me to easily transition units. I updated my review to 5 stars because I went from some apprehension/worry to full peace of mind. I definitely recommend this facility
