Most ATROCIOUS BUSINESS PRACTICES. THEY HAVE SEVERAL CASES OPEN FOR DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICES! My partner has had their belongings held hostage here for years. When we finally got the items we were sent to an address several hours away despite knowing the area we reside in. The workers even told us that there was a closer facility smh, which required us to pay extra on the mileage of the uhal. When we arrived. There were no clear marking on the building and no clear number to call. We had to make an appointment because it is not actually a storage space, it is a ‘to the ceiling warehouse’ that you cannot access because they hide the location from you until you decide to pick up. They also incrementally raise the price without your consent. We also asked for items to be disposed and they told us that they couldn’t tell us how much it would cost because AI does the calculation. Meaning we don’t know how much it could cost and they could charge us whatever they want. We also spoke to the workers who claimed someone tried to unionize and the managers threatened them.

I would give Clutter 0 stars if I could. This company is a complete scam when it comes to their delivery service. I scheduled a delivery and specifically asked for a 1 PM - 5 PM time window with their customer service. I was told multiple times that they will do their best to accommodate my needs. However, I still got the message the night before that the movers will be coming in the morning. I called and contacted customer service multiple times about this situation but the driver still showed up early in the morning while I was not at the property. They unilaterally CANCELLED my delivery and slapped me with a $200 cancellation fee. To make matters worse, they told me I couldn't even attempt to reschedule for another 48 hours, leaving me without my essential items. Their customer service is a joke--they promised me they would call me back on updates but THEY NEVER DID!! This is predatory behavior. They ignore their customers' requests and just to collect cancellation fees. If you value your time and your money, DO NOT USE CLUTTER. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and disputing the charge with my bank. Absolute nightmare experience.

(Zero stars if that were possible) I prepaid this company for 5 hours of moving services and they managed to turn moving day into a full-blown disaster. On the night before the move, they explicitly told me that once the truck was on the way, they would send a tracking link so I could follow their progress. That link never arrived. On moving day—while I’m actively packing up my house—they allegedly show up, make one single phone call, wait about 20 minutes, and then just leave. No follow-up. No second call. No text. No knock worth mentioning. Nothing. To make matters worse, it was raining in Los Angeles—already a stressful scenario—and their complete lack of communication left me stranded with no movers, no truck, and no plan on the same day I had to vacate. I was forced into an emergency scramble to find last-minute movers AND storage, which cost me an additional $1,000 out of pocket. And here’s the real insult: They then had the audacity to charge ME $200 for a “no-show.” Let that sink in. I prepaid. They failed to communicate. They left after one call. And then they penalized me. This is not a misunderstanding—it’s grossly unprofessional, borderline predatory behavior. Moving day is stressful enough without a company adding chaos, financial damage, and then blaming the customer for their own failures. If you value your time, your money, or your sanity, do not trust this company with your move.
