CubeSmart Self Storage

Moved to the Grapevine area into a nice, cozy, comfortable, and spacious 1br/1ba with my fiancée. But! Trouble! There wasn’t enough space for my things! So, I did what any smart man would do: I found a storage place near the apartment. I left a reservation in the morning and was called by Grant, the GM, right after the store opened. He asked if I was still interested and gave me the full rundown on the facility, including a tour, how it operates, and how the employees take care in ensuring units are nice and safe. Great person and great employee. 5/5

I’ve been a long-term customer with CubeSmart, and unfortunately my experience has been frustrating when it comes to pricing transparency and loyalty. Rates seem to increase regularly for existing customers, while new customers are offered significantly lower promotional pricing. What’s even more concerning is that even after those promotional customers move in, their rates can still remain hundreds of dollars lower than those of customers who have been there for years. I reached out to customer service and spoke directly with the property manager to discuss the pricing disparity, hoping there would be some willingness to work toward a fair solution. Unfortunately, there was no effort to negotiate or adjust the rate. They refused to make any accommodation and continue to stand firm on charging long-term customers substantially more. I currently pay $451.14 for a 10x15x8. It feels like loyalty is being penalized rather than rewarded. Long-term customers should not be paying dramatically higher rates than brand-new tenants for the same service. Fairness and customer retention should matter. Very disappointing experience overall.

I’ve had to use this location recently, and I wanted to leave a review because they are always so helpful. The place is always very clean and the prices are really nice. I love their promotions that they have. It’s a seamless transaction and I feel safe there at this location. I highly recommend.
