CubeSmart Self Storage

I've been using Cube Smart for a couple of years now and recently new to this location. The people here are great and always friendly. Lot is always well maintained and the dumpsters always available. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

I rented both a storage locker and RV parking from the Leander TX location. Both Jason and Coleman were awesome to work with. Pricing was up front and fair. No surprise charges. They even offered to prorate when I needed to move out instead of having me pay for the whole month. Very happy with my experience and would definitely do business again.

I’m increasingly frustrated with the trend of large investment groups purchasing our local storage facilities and dramatically increasing rates—often doubling or even tripling what long-term customers were previously paying. While I fully acknowledge that I’m working on downsizing and eliminating my storage unit altogether, it’s unreasonable to raise rent by 2.5 times in a single increase. To make matters worse, when my card was compromised and I was in the process of updating my payment information, I was immediately charged an additional $66 in late fees, with no consideration of the circumstances. On top of that, they do not accept card payments over the phone, yet their required phone payment system adds another $12.50 fee. This is extremely poor customer service, and it’s disappointing to see how these new ownership models are impacting long-standing community members.
