CubeSmart Self Storage

I think the managers name is Leanne. However, she is extremely rude. I called the office to give notice that I was vacating while I was still physically on the property. She assumed after my initial call that my unit was clean and empty, but I had only left to use the bathroom across the street at the gas station which wasn't open at the time. I came back and she was already at my unit. She accused me of leaving and hiding my trash for her to clean up, then proceeded to lecture me like a child about it as if I wasn't literally at the property asking her for help to move the heavy box of trash. I had questions about vacating in which she responded, " you clearly didn't read your agreement". She said I had until the next day to clean and vacate, but she kept threatening to fine me $500 dollars if I didn't vacate tonight. I asked her if they had anything I could use to clean up a spill with and she said, "it's called self-storage, do it yourself". I don't understand why someone who is unreasonably rude and disrespectful holds a position of management anywhere. My experience here was totally uncalled for considering I was polite even when being falsely accused and scolded by her like I was a child. Also, i tried to negotiate a cheaper price twice. The first time, she told me to contact her "supervisor" and she provided a number of a person who never answered or returned any of my calls. The second reason I asked for a cheaper price because she changed the access hours which locked me out of my unit considering my work hours. She denied that she ever changed the hours and then proceeded to take the sign down. There was also a roach problem here. I understand that's inevitable but there were seemingly no pest control attempts from cube smart beyond the rat poison bags being placed in the units. Avoid this place as there are plenty better and cheaper options to choose from.

Ist time renting out a storage cage. Ms. Cathy assisted me. She is so helpful and extremely nice. I think I will love doing business here. I'll definitely spread yhe word about this place. Thanks, CUBESMART.

I don't usually do reviews, but I would like to highlight that Cathy is a great representative for Cubesmart. It's still priceless to have a human being that shows a potential customer kindness, thoughtfulness and valuable service. All of which helped me to make my decision, given this era of automation and AI. Cathy is a valuable asset and there seems to be less and less of those, these days. But I look forward to working with her, now that I'm a customer. Thanks Again Cathy.😊
