CubeSmart Self Storage

Units are infested with rats. I tried to close my account, but they wouldn’t let me due to the fact there’s still items in the unit, however they are soaked with rat pee and poop. Took my card off so they could no longer charge me, and they still did. Horrible rude staff, no district manager has called or tried to make the situation any better. I’ve contacted them 3 different times in different ways and all they care about is payment

I have rented a unit here for over 15 years. The prices started at $90 a month for a 10x15 for a good 10 years. Back then this place was Best Storage. When CubeSmart bought it out they raise the prices every year. By the time the fifth year, the price for the exact same unit was $189 a month. So you can do the math what the annual rate hike was. The other thing is that the unit whether it's in the middle of the complex or if the edge of the complex was always dirty and dusty. The unit had not been opened for years and yet all the content in the storage was covered in dirt. Enough is enough. I rented a truck and move all my stuff to a different storage facility. My new facility is great. We've had it for almost a year now and I don't have the dirt problem that I had at CubeSmart. And the prices for a 10x20 is only $73. I don't regret leaving CubeSmart one bit. And the great thing about my new storage unit is that it is not run by or own by CubeSmart. The added bonus is that my new storage unit is so much closer to my house.
