Extra Space Storage

My review may be late, but I still wanted to share my experience. I moved into a first-floor storage unit around October last year, and the move-in process went smoothly. The staff in the front office were friendly, and communication was clear throughout the process. The only issue I experienced happened when I moved out a few months later. Unfortunately, some of my furniture had been damaged by mice. They had chewed through some of the fabric, and I also found mice droppings inside a few of my dressers and on the floor of the unit. I’m confident I did not bring the mice with me when I moved from Colorado to Texas, as I had never experienced any infestation issues before. When I informed the front office, they mentioned this had not been a problem in the past and that it was new to them. I wish I had written this review sooner, but I think it’s important for others to be aware that there is a possibility of mice, especially in first-floor units.

If you are looking for a well maintained, good sized units, clean, storage unit that provides excellent customer service I definitely recommend Extra Space Storage, located on 18629 Weiss Lane in Pflugerville. The management (Susan) is awesome, very sweet lady and so helpful! When I am at the facility I always see her walking the units, cleaning, and approaching the customers to see if they need anything. I highly recommend this facility and thank you Susan for making my rental experience such a pleasant one!

We have rented a unit from this location since June 2025. Great location, nice new building and we have appreciated the service we have received especially from Susan! She is so polite, professional and has always addressed things promptly and professionally and her follow-up is something strongly missing from most customer service experiences we have with other businesses. I highly recommend this location especially dealing with Susan as she handles everyone with superior service. Thanks Susan!
