Extra Space Storage

My initial move in was fantastic. The crew was very helpful and responsive. Ever since then, I wish I had gone with a different storage company. I moved into my storage unit less than a year ago. Since then, my initial ~$50 monthly rent has been increased twice (first to ~$100 and now over $200). A 4x increase is utterly ridiculous. Additionally, customer service/the website is very bad. The website used to have monthly itemized invoices, which are no longer available. Now, I have to call, wait on hold and have the invoices emailed to me. If this wasn't inconvenient enough, multiple times the customer support agent has either hung up on me, or sent me an unitemized receipt (when I specifically specified itemized), meaning I have to repeat the entire 20+ minute process again.

This Extra Space Storage Facility and staff are wonderful. We highly recommend this facility for storage. The building is clean, feels secure, and the staff is very professional and helpful. Our only complaint is the sharp increase in fees after the first year. We know this is common in the storage industry, but feel that longterm occupants, like nonprofits who need to store items for student events and such, should receive some type of loyalty consideration. Otherwise, this would be a 5-star rating. If I could rate just the corporation without affecting the staff rating, this would be few stars.

I really can't believe "April"Representative of Extra Space Storage someone very knowledgeable and understanding with quality of customer service and following culture of the company was there to help me in all my needs. I asked him few times two make the changes during the process of moving and limited space April was there to help me out to figure out what I needed to get everything done. I really want to say Thank you April for helping me and others out there as well. You are such a wonderful person and I hope your managers are super happy to have you as a great employee. Thank you.
