Extra Space Storage

Unbelievable experience, value, and customer service at this location. Couldn't be happier with my storage solution. Manager JR made all the difference, turning what was an abject nightmare into something more like a vision of beauty. What ease, what delight. What service. A true professional in every way.

When I first rented my unit back when it was still Tulsa Downtown Storage, I was impressed with how clean the parking area, elevators and storage areas were, and with the reasonable price for the unit. I had actually moved to Tulsa Downtown Storage after leaving an Extra Space Storage unit where they were charging me nearly twice as much for a unit of about the same size. Then Extra Space Storage unfortunately bought Tulsa Downtown Storage, too. Now there's trash everywhere; on the floor, in the elevators, etc. They keep the dumpster locked and won't let anyone use it, so people just pile their trash on top of and around it. The elevator floors are dirty and sticky, and the parking and storage areas smell bad. Now I've just been notified that they're raising the price of my unit from $48 a month to $96. They had already raised it by $10 a month immediately after taking over management of the place. They provide worse customer service and facilities than the previous owners, and have the nerve to more than double the price of the units. I left the Extra Space Storage unit I had because of crap like this. Now I have to find a different place so I can get away from them -again-.

JR is so exceptionally helpful. My family and I have faced a lot of challenges this year that led us to needing a storage facility and Extra Space with JR's help have assisted us along the way making hard times easier. I cannot put into words what an ease on my mind it is to know that our family belongings are safe and that we are valued while we piece together our life and rebuild. I highly recommend this facility and I think JR needs a million dollar raise! He has been kind and helpful and truly compassionate to our situation.
