Iron Guard Storage

Update:Renters watch out. Received no help from management. We decided to move down the road and rent the same size unit for $100 less a month. Was very happy with Anchor storage, but have been so disappointed with Iron guard. I just was sent a notice that they are raising my rate AGAIN! I looked online, and saw them advertised for a full $73 less than I am currently paying. I called the office asking about it, confirmed it was the same unit size and then asked why I am paying so much more even though I have been a good and steady customer for nearly 10 years. I essentially was told that is just how it is. Not the nicest conversation. I have a message in to their general manager to try and work something out. If they won't treat their longtime customers with respect or consideration then we will be leaving. I have also recommended multiple people here who rented. Never again. Since they have taken over I have seen a leak in the building, have reported multiple broken doorstops that take months to replace, and it seems that they always have issues with the electronic gate and keypad. For nearly a month I had to use a generic code to get in. With their prices, these things should be fixed way faster.

I strongly urge anyone considering this facility to stay away. My trailer was stolen from Iron Guard Storage in Marysville, and when I asked about security footage, I was told the cameras are only for show and don’t even work. That means customers are essentially paying to store their belongings in an unsecured lot with no real surveillance. If you value your property, do not trust this place. A storage facility should provide basic security and peace of mind, but instead, this location failed completely. The lack of working cameras shows a total disregard for their customers’ safety and belongings. Please take my experience as a warning — look for a storage facility that actually invests in security and stands behind its responsibility to protect your property.
