I cannot say enough good things about Kaimuki Storage. I moved in during November. They accommodated my situation, gave me the best rate possible on the largest size available, and made a stressful time feel manageable. In December, I was involved in a moped accident and was hospitalized for two days. They were incredibly understanding and compassionate about my situation. That level of humanity is rare. This is a truly family-owned and operated business and every interaction feels warm, personal, and genuine. It doesn’t feel corporate or cold. It feels like you matter. Pros: • Compassionate and understanding during personal emergencies • Excellent rates and fair pricing • Large unit options • Family-owned with personal, friendly service • Safe and secure facility Cons: • Hours are more traditional business hours (not open late) • November and December operate on half-day schedules • The facility is underground, so it has a basement-like feel That said, while the hours may not work for everyone — especially if you need access late at night — it works perfectly for me. This isn’t a 24/7 hangout spot, and it’s not meant to be. It’s for people who simply need a reliable, secure place to store their belongings. If you’re looking for dependable, kind, business-hours storage run by good people, I absolutely recommend them.
