Mid-West Mini Storage - Wausau

Website is impossible to use and you cannot make contact with anyone in management if there are issues. From the jump they messed up our unit number and had to give us a different unit. Then a few months down the road they put a lock on our unit saying we didn't pay, turns out they locked the wrong unit and we had to call them multiple times to get the lock removed. We had no access to our stuff for about a week before the lock was removed. And the last straw was when we moved houses we thought auto-pay had been working until my husband called them to cancel (after 9 attempts), turns out the auto-pay on their end didn't "go through" even though we had the charge in our bank account. They even tried to add on a late fee! Mid-West Mini Storage is a terrible business and I would recommend storing your items anywhere else!

Pros: 1. Process was easy. 2. 25% chance property manager can be reached by phone. Cons: 1. No security - The unit right next to mine was broke into 4 days after signing the lease. 2. Not willing identify a solution with me. 3. The emails communicating the lease terms was not the same as the lease agreement.

Was reasonably priced but when you try to cancel they won't let you they find a way to keep charging you I called several times and tried to cancel my unit with more than 30 day notice they sent me a response to fill out I filled it out but apparently they didn't get it this is one of their scams they tell you everything is good when you call them and you cancellation is up-to-date then all of a sudden they start charging you again and telling you you have to fill out more paperwork this is wrong so people be careful when you rent from this place I wouldn't recommend it for anyone
