Now listen… This thrift store can be very scammy or really good depending on the days and place. Now in my opinion, everyone is right. They have really expensive stuff and recently have known how to find vintage or cool things and resell it for insane prices. For example, they had a vintage t shirt from the 80’s for over $180 which is absolutely diabolical being that when I searched it up online it was $40 MAX. Also, I saw that multiple times if they even find anything motorcycle, guitar, car, “collectible” related, they WILL triple the price and make it no discount or 25% off max. However, sometimes I have found deals slip through the cracks. For example, I found a brand new Sony handycam from 2007 for only 20 bucks which is crazy cause it’s worth way more. Also, sometimes the prices aren’t that bad, but it’s a THRIFT STORE, not a resell shop. Plus they get these items for FREE!!!!. So at least make it fair. If you want to go here, I recommend the other unique not in tricounty. I feel like most of the time the better stuff is sent over there rather in this unique. Also, go on the days where everything is over 50% of. That way everything is actually a TRIFT STORE priced. *sort of*

I didn't have a terrible experience here, but I noticed a lot of the clothes were quite expensive. I saw a pair of Zara boots that were priced for almost $40. I saw one dress I liked from h&m and it was about $25. That's more than what the sale price would have been at the store! It kind of made me want to just go to tj maxx or Marshall's. It was fun to look around, though. Maybe I'll find something good and affordable next time.

Unfortunately this place has gone down hill every year since Unique took over tri county. Only escalator thT works is the one for the jewelery floor. Place is always dirty and the bathrooms especially the one on the mezzanine looks like its about to cave in and always smells like urine. They even took down the signs on the outside of the building that made it a landmark. Whoever runs this building needs to be fired.
