I rented a lot for my trailer for 3 days. I was very clear with the host that all I needed it for was 3 days. The host continues charging my credit card for 7 months! I was charged over 700.00 for 3 days rental. When I contacted Neighbor, they refused to help me and asked for proof I had told the host I only needed it 3 days. I sent them screenshots and they still refused to refund my money

Yesterday, my father-in-law sent me a link that showed me some space rentals. Ixm a disabled vet now retired, so I'm on a VERY fixed income. I've been renting a 10X20 unit for 11 years, and that rent has gone through the roof. I found a space, well priced, so it will save me money and be closer to where I'm at. I contacted the host via the Neighbor app. We exchanged messages. He said he'd call me today, and indeed, a call came in with the ID said, Neighbor. I answered. It wasn't the host it was a customer service rep. I could barely understand her broken English, but the bottom line was she wanted me to reserve the place and give them my method of payment right then. I fonx̌t know about you, but I don't lay out money, upfront sight unseen and told her exactly that. In fact, I had to tell her that 4 (FOUR) times. To say that she was aggressive is a bit understated. I wasn't rude, but I was adamant, and when I told her the 4th time, she hung up on me. There's quite a lot of 1Star reviews about Neighbor.com, and now there's one more.

Neighbor does not work to protect the rights of renters to remove their property either. The first and only time I used it, the owner of the space refused to allow me to remove my belongings, resulting in the contract being extended several months. Just use a regular storage facility and avoid the hassle.
