Nestory Park Self Storage - Machesney Park

I am more than a little unhappy with my local Nestory. My monthly bill has increased...yet again. And not by just a dollar or 2! Their reasoning is because it's not considered a long term storage facility---does any business not offer discounts for long term, loyal customers anymore?!?! I've been with Nestory almost since they first opened and just wish the associate I talked to on the phone acted like she appreciated my business even a little bit :(

I hope you don't have the same experience that I had with a rude employee two days ago. I found this location online and decided to stop by and check out the outdoor parking facilities for my rv. It was 4:30pm when I arrived the office door was locked, nobody inside. Office hours on the door say 9:00am to 5:30pm Monday-Friday. I call the office number and was routed to a call service. The lady was very nice and tried to contact the office herself but no luck. She was able to reach an employee who was allegedly on a bank run and would be there in 5 minutes. The employee arrived a short time later and I met her at the office door. I informed her that I was interested in outdoor parking and asked to see the size of the spaces available. She appeared annoyed and said “yep”. We walked to the outdoor parking area, she opened the gate and just stood there, didn't say a word, looking more annoyed. I told her the size of my rv and she said it has to fit in the space. Seeing she was further annoyed, I asked her what was the problem and am I bothering you? She says I have to run an errand. At that point I started walking to my vehicle and said to her “wow, sorry to bother you” I called the service and told the nice lady about the incident and she apologized and said a district manager will contact you. I haven’t heard from anyone yet. I won’t be recommending this place to anyone.

Prices are better than outdoor storage facilities, the building is spotless, they have friendly staff, free coffee, and bathrooms! I chose this indoor storage facility after the ceiling canopy liner collapsed and rain water poured into my unit at a nearby outdoor storage facility (twice in the past 5 years). Indoor storage is definitely the way to go!
