Odenton Self Storage

This place was decent enough when I initially rented the storage space and the gentleman who assisted me was helpful however once in the space there were some things that were not good. First of all, the code for door around the back constantly was not working so I had to walk all the way to the other door which was a pain. Next, the back is not well lit so if you are a female and you need to go to your storage space at night...good luck. Then the elevators were the slowest elevators I have ever experienced in my life. Next, the carts are wooden and old. Matter-a-fact the handle came off one of them while I was moving items. The hallways didn't have automatic lights so I had to walk to the middle of the units to get to the knobs for the light (dangerous) The biggest no no for me was when for no reason, they went up on the rental cost by almost $100 in one month. So, they wanted me to pay $279/month. This place was not worth it especially when we had the snowstorm and more than 2-weeks later they didn't even bother to attempt to shovel the area meanwhile my new storage unit was clear and the parking lot was clean (and literally I'm paying $160 less) New place plenty of parking, working elevators, bright and automatic lights, friendly staff. The kicker with this place they had a nerve to say they would charge me another month if I wasn't out by the end of the day but I was paid up until the next day. They then said because they were closed on Thursday (which was the next day) if I wasn't out by close of business on Wednesday I would be charged because they couldn't do an inspection. What sense does that make? None. This place was the worst seriously, I'm happy I never have to go there again.

I had such a great experience with this storage facility! The units are clean, well-maintained, and easy to access, but what really made the difference was the excellent customer service. Mera went above and beyond to make the whole process smooth and stress-free. She was patient, professional, and genuinely cared about helping me find the best unit for my needs. It’s rare to find someone so attentive and friendly — she truly made me feel like a valued customer. If you’re looking for a reliable storage facility with top-notch service, I highly recommend this place — and definitely ask for Mera!

I needed another Unit fir our things we were having moved from South Carolina and was very stressed out. However, when I spoke to Meara (sp)(Manager) she managed to calm me down. Therefore, I went oncto see her today, Feb. 20 and she further assisted me on ways to make my situation easier (see, I already have one unit with things from our wedding stored) and nit having to spend extra having two units. She was amazing, personable, and very knowledgeable. She made my pressure go down.
