Poor business practices when it matters. TLDR; Rate increases with no notice, no leeway for emergencies, higher rates than others in the area Down the Highway closer to Citrus there is another company with the same benefits at half the price. I recommend looking there! When we started with this storage unit we worked with a wonderful couple with dogs who made it a great experience. We noticed management changed, but didn't think anything of it. A year or so ago I noticed my rate went up with no communication around it. At the time I just accepted it and went about my business paying my rent. A few months ago we had a death in the family and in the midst of everything else forgot to make our payment. When I contacted them there was absolutely no leeway given to not have to pay a fee. In the years we had been with them we had never asked for something like this and apparently even once was impossible. Respecting the business decision we just paid it. This month once again I noticed our rate had gone up as I went to pay it in the portal. It would not allow me to make my normal payment so I reached out to ask to be given the legal expectation of 30 days to decide if I would like to stay on at this rate, while paying my normal rate. The answer was no and that I HAD received a notice. I checked all over and had received no such notice and the only thing I found was an invoice from December 30th that did not note in the email a rate increase but did show the new rate if I opened the pdf attachment that looked like a normal invoice. (again, nowhere did it say rate increase or notice of rate increase) Instead of allowing us time to decide the storage company demands the new rate paid with no time to make a decision, will not let us pay the normal rate, and is charging us a late fee instead of working this out with us and allowing us to pay the regular payment as we do so.

Darrell and his team were amazing with the constant rescheduling I had to do. They worked with my schedule and were super helpful. They also saved me a ton in coupons. I am so great fun to have used this uhaul company. Super nice and extremely helpful! I highly recommend them
