On two different days, I had the pleasure of being helped by Daryl, Marcel & Dimitri. All 3 gentlemen were very helpful, knowledgeable, courteous & professional. I appreciated their guidance & expertise on choosing an appropriate size storage unit. They walked me through the steps to reserve it, & explained the fees. They were extremely helpful & nice. 0 STARS DO NOT GO HERE! I have never written 1 review in my life, but this was the worst experience. Right from the start, things went downhill. The facility itself was unkempt with dirty hallways and units which consist of broken chain link ceilings. It was clear that maintenance is not a priority here. Not only was the place dirty, but I also experienced major issues with accessibility when moving in. The freight elevators stopped working with my belongings inside and it took the staff member 45 minutes to get a hold of a manager and find the fuse box to turn it back on. During this time I was paying movers by the hour, and the facility offered no reimbursement for their facility issues. To make matters worse, when I needed to move out of the facility for a long distance move they would not allow me to put a 8x8 moving container in the parking lot for 24 hours alongside their building as they didn't want it to "scratch their driveway", which is full of massive pot holes and debris. My moving container is on wheels, and there is plenty of room in the lot alongside the building their response was "you would have to purchase another storage unit and pay 3 months of rent" to allow my container on the lot. I ended up paying the city for a street permit rather than paying Prime Storage any more money. The staff were incredibly unprofessional and unresponsive - Phone calls went unanswered, and when I did manage to reach someone, they were very rude and unhelpful. This experience has been nothing but stressful. Save yourself the hassle and choose a different facility!

Poor customer service at the desk. I paid for my unit and received it online. All set? No. I arrive to move in my stuff and I’m told I must buy their insurance. “It’s mandatory.” Yet I was given a sales contract and assigned a unit without their “mandatory” policy for $17/month. Egregious attempt to tack on nonsensical expenses to a customer. The staffer, when he occasionally visited the office desk, basically said “take it or leave it.” Finally a manager (Joe?) arrived with some common sense and advised me if I had an existing homeowners policy that covered storage then their policy wasn’t necessary Poorly run place.
