I’ve been renting a unit at Prime Storage in Bradenton and I really want to recognize Fred Martell for his outstanding service. From day one he has been professional, courteous, and genuinely helpful with every question I’ve had. Fred goes above and beyond to make sure everything is clear and easy, whether it’s explaining the lease, helping with gate access, or just checking in to see if everything is okay with my unit. It’s rare to find a property manager who is this patient, attentive, and dependable. Because of Fred, I feel confident and comfortable storing my belongings here. He is a huge asset to Prime Storage Bradenton, and I highly recommend this location thanks to the way he manages the property.

To Whom It May Concern, I am submitting this letter as a formal complaint regarding intimidation, retaliatory conduct, and unprofessional behavior by an employee who identified himself as the manager at the Prime Storage facility in Bradenton, Florida. The facts and timeline below are accurate and should be reflected clearly in your records. First Incident (Prior Date – Phone Call): On a prior date, I was contacted by phone by this employee regarding bed rails that had been placed neatly at the dumpster area for disposal. During that phone call, I was told that if I did not return to the facility before the close of business, I would be charged $100. This statement was made verbally, without any written notice, without reference to my lease, and without any written policy being provided to me. I complied with the instruction and removed the bed rails. No further issues occurred that day, and no written warning or documentation was provided. Second Incident (Today – In Person): Today’s incident was separate. I want this stated clearly: I was not speaking to, engaging with, or addressing this employee in any manner. I was standing at my rented storage unit on a private phone call when he approached me and instructed me to “quiet down.” I informed him that I was not bothering anyone. As he walked away toward the office, he made a statement to the effect of “I’ll show you what I can do,” after taking my storage unit number. He did not mention any specific fee or dollar amount during this encounter. However, the statement itself, combined with his actions, felt intimidating and retaliatory. I have been a tenant at this facility for some time and have never had any issues until this individual arrived at the site. I was already in the process of vacating my unit, as this is my final month. When I requested to speak with someone over him, he stated that he was the manager. On a separate occasion, I observed another individual in the main office who appeared to hold managerial authority. When I attempted to address the matter, the office door was shut, and I was denied access to upper management. I also attempted to contact corporate management by phone and was unsuccessful at that time. I was later told that a letter had been issued, yet I never received it, nor were its contents explained to me. I respectfully request: A formal review of this employee’s conduct Written confirmation that no retaliatory or undocumented fees will be assessed Written clarification of Prime Storage’s policies regarding dumpster use and item removal Assurance that tenants are not subjected to intimidation while accessing their units Please document this complaint and escalate it to the appropriate regional or corporate management level.
