I purchased two storages from storage treasures at this location. After the sale and being charged for the service fee, a representative called and said that they didn’t have anybody available to take my payment because they didn’t have a manager on site on November 12. Asked if I could come in on the 13th to pay which I gladly said yes. I find it awkward that when I arrive I’m told that the person who has the right to purchase their stuff back prior to me purchasing it actually called that morning, the day after the sale, and was able to pay for their unit before I could pay for it. It seems suspicious that they asked me to wait a day and the person didn’t pay on the day of the sale ended. additionally, the unit that I was able to purchase, they have had issues with the lock so they put their own locking mechanism on it with exterior bolts so that could be taken off easily and broken into.

So ive looked thru the reviews and it looks like people have gotten their things stolen from this storage years ago and it keeps happening. This is the worst storage that I've seen when it comes to it being secure. The set up in the front entrance is terrible. Anyone can get in at anytime. No gate. Apparently what blocks cars from going in or out can simply be lifted and thats how they are able to sneak in and out. The doors that lead to some storages in a hallway are not locked and any of them can be opened. The piece of metal with the hole that the lock goes through is thin and can be cut easily and they dont even need to try to cut the lock. The locks are almost basically pointless to the people that seem to keep stealing from the place. That storage seems to be a target for the whoever is stealing cause of how easy it is and how many times the place has been broken into. It was also strange because of when I arrived the first time the thieves apparently put their own lock on the storage because management said they didn't put a lock on it. At first I thought the payment was late or no payment because of the other lock but oy was all payed for and for whatever reason the thieves had broke into the unit, stole and closed it up and put their lock on it.. I noticed the cut on the metal piece but saw that my lock had still kept the door shut because the it seemed the cut wasent enough to slip past the lock so I assumed that it was okay and I could speak with management about the other lock. So it made me think that maybe the thieves bent the metal back to how it was originally before being cut... alot of it dosent make to much sense but I couldn't help but think about how the situation looked. I had to wait cause it was a Sunday and then they were notified later and I guess they had cut the other lock off. It all also seemed kinda of shady and strange to me. I wouldnt even consider taking and storing my stuff at this place. Then they say that all we can do is go to insurance which they just recently added a extra charge for or from what I understand it is a recent thing that they did. Now going to go thru a process with whatever this insurance is.. theres a chance they might not even do anything about it. Whoever runs that place also still might not do anything about how they can make it more secure even after this also because of how its happened years ago and still nothing seems to have been done to fix these issues.

There was recently a mass break-in of what must have been half the units overnight, thanks to a gate you can just walk in and locks you can easily bypass. I personally lost at least thousands of dollars of items. Do not store here with their glaring security issues.
