Am visiting my family in Florida and want to take family records and photos back home with me. My sister-in-law has a storage unit here. We went to her storage unit to get the items and discovered Sharon had put an additional lock on the unit. My sister's payment was due March 19. The owner acknowledged she did not pick up her mail from PO Box she has cash sent to for monthly payments because she lives far away from the post office. She agreed my sister's payment was probably there waiting for her to go pick up. We asked to have the lock removed since the payment wasn't late and she refused. My brother offered to meet her to pay cash for April's rent therefore paying extra rent ahead of the next month due date. The owner refused to meet during normal business hours and then blocked phone calls and all attempts to contact her. After hearing how difficult the owner makes it for her customers to make payments (my sister-in-law had a stroke and can't drive), the fact that the owner Sharon insists on a "cash only" policy and denies any receipts to customer for cash payments made to her and also claims to keep all of her financial records only in her personal ledger? I am heartbroken that I fly out tomorrow without the important items I came here to get because the owner of this storage unit blocks and ignores her customer's and has zero business hours to physically meet in person. She is completely inaccessible and she keeps your storage items unaccessable. Advised my family to contact BBB.

The owner only accepts cash to hide payments from IRS then claims to lose cash payments. This place should be investigated and closed.
