Attempted theft and property damage - I stored my RV at the storage facility in Palm Harbor. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. Someone attempted to cut off the catalytic converter on my RV, causing severe damage. When I called the location for assistance with video surveillance, I was treated like a nuisance. There was no assistance offered, no concern shown, and no effort to help or guide me on next steps. I understand that theft can happen anywhere, but how management responds matters. The lack of customer service was unacceptable, especially given the cost of storing an RV and the expectation of a secure facility. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this location if you are storing valuable property and expect staff to be supportive when something goes wrong. I also recommend removing “Secure” from the company name.

Online registration was generally effective. However, you can’t read the contract until after entering all your contact and billing information. Because of that, I had to call to get key details before going through the whole process, which was a nuisance. I reached the answering service at first, but the manager called me back promptly. After I submitted the forms and finally accessed the contract, I ran into some glitches with the ID-photo upload. I called again, and we resolved it with a manual upload. Charles, the manager, was excellent throughout—very helpful and patient. Once the unit was issued, the on-site experience was extremely smooth. I drove onto the property and parked right by the door. Access was simple: walked to the secure door, entered the code, and it opened right away. Carts were available by the entrance. I loaded one, went back through the secure door, and straight onto the elevator. The building was clean, well lit, and easy to navigate. Our unit was just a quick walk down a couple of rows on the second floor. The lock and instructions were waiting in the unit as promised. After unloading, I returned the cart to the area by the elevator. Overall, a very easy and efficient on-site process. I’d doing a fraction of a start if I could, especially for having to call to get info about the contract. However, compared to other storage units I have used, it went very smoothly. They definitely round up to 5 stars.
