I’ve used this storage company in the past with no issues, but ever since the management change, the experience has gone downhill. My monthly rate increase tremendously from 120 to 200 for a 10x10 premium unit and not to mention if you go to their website the rates are substantially lower. I tried reaching out multiple times for a callback to discuss the sudden price hike, but no one ever returned my calls. I called the office to close out my unit and first spoke with someone on the phone named Star, who was rude and unprofessional. That conversation is what prompted me to go to the office in person. While there, I spoke with Doelle, who was very empathetic and sympathetic to my situation. He apologized for my experience and expressed that he wished he had the opportunity to help earlier. He is not the reason for this review. Star clearly needs more training in basic customer service etiquette. The way they spoke over the phone was unprofessional and dismissive. The company really needs to reconsider who they hire and ensure their staff are properly trained to speak to customers with respect. It’s frustrating because I was once a satisfied, loyal customer, but this company clearly doesn’t value communication or fairness of their customers considering I am not the only one with rate increase. I wouldn’t recommend this location unless they get their pricing and customer service back on track.
