Simple process to get a unit in this very clean and well maintained storage facility. Cheaper than anywhere around especially for the size needed. Ms. Melanie and Ms. Kelsey make sure you are squared away with everything you need and are able to answer any questions that you may have. Definitely recommend this place if you are in need of extra storage space.

DO NOT RENT HERE! I discovered significant water damage to my climate controlled unit. I was never notified of water damage which was evident throughout the facility. My things were destroyed. Mold everywhere. It was so gross and smelled terrible. Management refused to refund or even pro-rate my last month storage fee after moving out 2 days into rental period. See pics. UPDATE 8/22/26 - There has still been no attempt to offer a resolution or provide even $1 refund for damage done to my belongings. Generations of family pics and heirlooms destroyed. I gave the business plenty of time to find ways to try to mitigate and compensate me for the damage done to my property BEFORE I posted the initial review and they refused to take even the small step of pro-rating my fees for a portion of the final month storage fee. So, to be clear, they take ZERO responsibility for damage done to your property at their facility. Finally, do not waste your money on a climate controlled unit at this facility. The indoor temperature was 80+ degrees on the 2 days we dealt with the disposal of destroyed items. UPDATE 10/01/25: Still zero follow-up from the Claims Department after filling out and submitting a gauntlet of insurance claim forms in July, 2025. No credit for storage fees and no insurance claim paid out.

I recently rented a unit at Storage of America in Manhattan, and the online experience made the whole process much easier. The convenience of reserving online combined with the friendly service in person made the experience smooth and stress-free.
