I rented a storage unit yesterday online. And met with an employee to finalize my paper work ( African American women, i cant remember her name) very nice and showed me around the complex. Fast forward to today 5/23/25 4pm. I used my code and enter through the side. A Caucasian or Hispanic employee confronted me and says " what's your unit number " I paused ⏸️ for a second and searched my phone for the unit.. she responded with " you don't have a unit " !!.. This is on camera.. thank God the other employee was there to say " no he has a unit " This woman who didn't give her name, nor ask if I needed help me made me feel like a trespasser!! I want to speak with her manager.. and I want a full apology... I'm a new & paying customer .. try and be professional.. So update on previous post - after sharing my opinion about my treatment. I was retaliated against me . I received a email terminating my least ( which I had for 2 days ) . I arrived at the store and found two different employees working ( very nice / helpful) I showed them the email, they called the boss on speaker. And he approved me being banned from all SROA .. I can't believe how I'm treated. The employee said she felt unsafe around me ????. Really?.. I couldn't get answers but I will be contacting corporate to see video footage. Initially I was told they don't give refunds.. but the employees agreed that I should get a refund for a unit I had 2 days.. my initial charge was 92 dollars.. I was only refunded 73 dollars?. How does that work ?
