Clean and well lit. However they raised our rent $24 after less than 6 months, and then another $60 after another 6 months. Why and how does this company choose who to raise rent on and how much? I feel its based on how many time you access your unit each month. Its just wrong. Will be moving ours out soon and going elsewhere before the price gets too out of hand. $200 for a 10x10 is ridiculous.

Members of our family have rented various storage spaces from Bloomington Lock-Up location for about eight years now. Each time they take their time to show us the unit, then walk us through the rental process. The employees are always friendly when we go in to get or drop off items in our spaces. Some of the employees are there for a long time! It’s quite secure, you can get in only if you have a code for that floor! It is well lighted and there are tons of security cams. It is very clean, including the restrooms. The prices are very good, competitive to comparable. I highly recommend this location of Lock-up.

Jim the manager is a jerk! He thinks it's funny that the guy he was kicking out was homeless. He literally laughed when I told him the guy he was kicking out was homeless. I guess he has a weird sense of humor. Now the homeless guy stayed in the unit overnight because it was raining. I understand the rules that are broken. The homeless guy didn't destroy anything, didn't urinate on the floor, or even eat in the unit. There was no destruction. He did not disturb anyone else. He did not steal anything from anyone. He was homeless. What I also found interesting is that the homeless man's items were there for only 15 days. No refund for the other 15 days? This guy is homeless and could use that money while living on the streets. Yeah, thanks little man Jim. Do you feel like you are bigger now by shaming a homeless man?
