PROFESSIONAL SCAMMERS & THEFT. Please stay away from Tray Moving Company. What was quoted as a $400–$600 job turned into a $1,000+ nightmare. We moved a small 1-bedroom (900 sqft) from OC to LA. Despite being fully packed and organized with only three major furniture items, they took 7+ hours for a job that should have taken 4. When the movers showed up, they were not wearing Tray Moving attire as depicted in the pictures online and they were also wearing slides. We were promised free moving boxes and they never brought them. The movers were moving extremely slow to the point where we had to step in and help them load. They lied about stopping for lunch which they were gladly going to charge us for that time (only removed 30 mins). Half way through unloading, one of the movers stopped working and we had to step in and help. After unpacking, we discovered valuable jewelry and watches were missing, along with significant damage to our furniture. Zero Accountability: We notified management of the situation and they told us to file a claim (which we did). We also asked them if the workers were contractors because they were not dressed in the uniform as depicted on their website. Of course, management completely dismissed us. We were in contact with Nelly who had scheduled a call with the CEO to go over the situation but they just kept sending us in circles since before the holidays. They promised a refund that never arrived and have now completely ghosted our calls and emails. This isn't just a bad move; it’s a scam. Do not trust them with your belongings.
