U-Haul Moving & Storage at Montgomery Hwy

I’m very pleased with going to U-Haul of Dothan and I have always been impressed with all of the staff I have ever had contact with. This time Joanie handed my rental transaction and she was Awesome. It only took minutes to set my reservation and she had me setup to come the next morning in no time. Thank You Joanie it was such a pleasure working with you. I highly recommend U-Haul for all your transportation needs.

We had a great experience moving to Dothan with U Haul. We just recently moved again using Dothan UHAUL. They gave us the worst UBoxs that they could find. Thought that they would fall apart. One of the box's lock system was a joke only needed to remove a couple of screws to remove the lock. They seemed to be short on moving blankets and gave us some with dirt and leaves stuck to them. As we loaded the boxes and returned them instead of putting them away they left them out all night in the rain. Anyone could have hooked up to our box and just drove away with our belongings not acceptable. They also put paper down in the bottom of the boxes without sweeping them the filth out. When we picked up our house hold belongings they were starting to grow moldy. We would not use Dothan Uhaul again that is their Ubox moving system. Jessie and the girls were doing their best with what they had but the other guys that worked there seemed lazy and didn't seem to care.

The team was very helpful. I was unable to take a photo of my rental via the text link. There was an issue with the software, my associate was very kind and helpful despite being busy with another client. He saw that I needed help and went above and beyond. The team was very busy and all worked together to ensure everyone was handled. This is a great location in regards to the team dynamic. I did have issue with my storage unit. I have been renting a unit for a year and a half. The unit was moist, had a lot of bugs and not climate controlled. It was very dark and dingy and wet. Most of my items have mold on them despite being stored properly in storage bins. I need to see about filing an insurance claim. Also, while I was moving out of my unit I saw a roach come out of one of my boxes. I had to fumigate my new storage unit. I feel severely stressed out over this. Especially with the mold on my items. I will be filing an insurance claim! The property should be climate controlled and professional pest control should be a main focus.
