U-Haul Moving & Storage at Orangethorpe Ave

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION. I had nothing but trouble and problems starting from check out until return. First of all checking out is a nightmare, nobody comes in the office until 10 AM and then they also close at 3:30 PM leaving your window of rental very short. I was running late due to traffic and some certain concerns and had called U-Haul to update the late delivery and this location has been blowing my phone up asking for their truck on top of that. They charged my card $125.03 separate times on top of the $207 I paid this morning!!, but in which it declined. To put the cherry on top, I parked the truck and walked to go lock the keys in the dropbox and the lady who’s not even working. No one is inside is screaming at me through their ring camera to not park the truck there and to go park it where all the other trucks are when I’m already out of the truck. These people are SCAMMERS!!!

The worst place to pay for storage! Don’t come here if you want to feel your stuff is secure. They will go through your stuff switch out your locks without consent. Never have I ever been late or missed a payment! Save your peace of mind and choose another solution for your storage.

- Found multiple kinds of insects in every single one of my boxes. - I don’t even want to know what was smeared all over the top of my desk but I’m guessing rat feces. - The manager who sets up your account for storage I don’t know his name but he was so rude and for no reason really I was actually shocked, my mom had interacted with him earlier and said he was rude and I thought she was just being dramatic but she wasn’t. - the facility’s front gate was completely open two times when going to my storage. Sorry to leave such a terrible review I don’t complain often and I don’t like to. But truly U-haul has been once of the worst experiences. And if I can help it I will never use U-haul for anything again.
