U-Haul Moving & Storage of East Alton

Rental Pick Up Location U-Haul Moving & Storage of East Alton 553 W St Louis Ave East Alton, IL 62024. Store only had 24 of the 60 furniture pads I reserved with the 2 furniture dollies and 26ft truck online. Rep said to call and make the reservation next time before making reservation online to make sure they have reserved equipment. Rep called the Alton store location for the remaining pads on my rental. I did not go to the Alton store to pickup the remaining furniture pads. I made do with the 24 furniture pads. Both reps were nice, kind, knowledgeable and friendly. Store was clean. Truck was new and maintained. Would recommend this location to all my friends and family. 10/10 5 stars!

Steve is a very polite professional person, he assisted me with everything i needed. His customer service is the best i have experienced. I will use this location from now on.

Scheduled for a hitch to be installed here under my husband name! Drive all the way from St Louis to this location only to get there and the guy says the person who does the installs won’t be in until 12pm. Why in the hell was I able to schedule an appointment for 7:30am then!! On top of all of that, I was asked can we drive all the way back out there after noon! Absolutely NOT!! Gas wasted for nothing!! I chose this location because it says he would have been able to wait for the car to be done! The guy I spoke with was nice . He called and spoke with his manager to see if the guy could come in earlier to assist since it was a u haul issue and not our problem, he said the manager said to come back after 12!! WHAT!!! The manager didn’t have any empathy to the situation at all based off the response he gave me when he called me back. I call another location and was told they had someone else come to them yesterday for this same very reason from this location! I don’t recommend going here! Thanks for nothing!!
